Бомбовоз "Горный Орел", из романа А. и Б. Стругацких "Обитаемый Остров". ПОтому что в фильме он был омерзителен.
Хотя у меня тоже соответствие не идеальное (пропеллеры не "почти касаются земли" и колеса маловаты  , но мне нравится. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Sorry for my bad english but i'am russian
Big Diesel engines were in use at a critical point in the History of technology; my favorite development were all designs based on Junkers two-stroke Diesels opposed-piston who saw service in long range aviation and, later, in U.K (Napier Deltic) and in U.S.S.R. (patrol boats).
Maybe the preeminence of U.S.A. prevented the full exploitation of the big Diesel technology in the 40's and 50's.
